Sunday, December 2, 2007 - Amazingly dark and young appearing with the barest trace of lightening at the edge. Very perfumed right out of the bottle before it closed down several hours later, with blackberry, cardamon, and a whiff of smokiness showing. Fairly big wine but not too solid or clumsy, with blackberry/blueberry and plum cut by refreshing acidity. Not quite as complex on the palate as the nose had promised, but this really is young and should improve. As is, still an excellent bottle.
