Saturday, March 11, 2017 - I believe this was decanted for about an hour. Earthy and leathery initially. Faded, darker toned fruit, a little tired and lean. With more air the fruit emerges somewhat but still this all about tertiary notes. I wouldn't guess this to have been from a hot vintage though. This grew on me but many at the table thought it to be to earthy and tired.
