Wednesday, February 23, 2022 - One-hour decant through a screened and aerating funnel. No sediment to speak of. Forest floor nose during decant. Wine was clear; garnet bowl lightening slightly to the rim. Nose in the glass of: forest floor, wild flowers and cedar box over a lighter blueberry undertone. In the mouth: blueberry, mushrooms and tarragon. Tannins quite smooth, medium depth of fruit and pleasant acid which made it a nice food accompaniment. Medium finish hinting at the cedar.
