Monday, September 2, 2013 - Decanted based on prior experience. Drank over two days. Still very young. Oak and tannins noted back in December are starting to smooth, but are still noticeable. Mixed spicy plum, wild berries, black licorice, and black pepper. More approachable on the second day. Goes well with slow smoked meats and BBQ. Probably has some upside over the next couple of years.
