Monday, August 16, 2010 - Decanted 1 hour. Beautiful nose of dark cherry, tobacco, earth, and smoke. Palate was true to what you would expect in a Rioja with dark cherry and tobacco, but was a little hollow on the finish. This is not a "wow" wine, but is certainly a good QPR at $14. Needs air to open up. Started to fade after about 3 hours. Drink now.
