Saturday, October 19, 2013 - Paired this side by side with the 2007 Trapiche Single Vineyard Domingo F. Sarmiento. This wine, with the older vines, had much more depth, tannin and tertiary aspects than the Sarmiento. Smoke, loganberrry and cherry pipe tobacco on the nose. Nice buttery finish and good strong tannins on the palate.
