Saturday, May 16, 2015 - Decanted for several hours. Deep, purple-violet color. Aromas of dried violets, graphite, cassis, tobacco- growing more reserved, secondary and complex with air. Shows plum & blueberry fruit on the palate, with layered notes of black tea, anise, cedar & clove, among others. Creamy and silky in texture, tightening while gaining mass and complexity with air. Fine polished tannins. Juicy-lingering finish. Very nice.
