Saturday, May 12, 2012 - Lovely warm (although not over-generous) nose of black fruit and old oak. Red cherries just about still discernible on the palate, but fairly light in mouth feel. Bit disappointing in comparison to much older 1987 I had recently which was still holding up very well. Drink the 1999s up soon.
