Tuesday, October 11, 2022 - Decanted for around 30 minutes. Medium garnet color with some bricking around the edges. Aromas of amarena cherry, balsamic, cedar cigar box, roasted plum, sweet baking spice on the nose. Very pretty. Similar flavors on the palate with great concentration of cherry and plum fruit along with notes of cedar, balsamic and dried cherry. The texture and finish on this wine was really quite good. Medium+ acidity with silky tannins and a long finish. Excellent barolo with plenty of life ahead of it.
