Tuesday, October 12, 2021 - Drank off the List at Le Gavroche in London. Decanted, but drank immediately from decanter. Provenance should be ex-Corney & Barrow.

Classic DRC nose, and the palate packs a punch as you'd expect from a good Corton. Unfortunately this had some green notes to it - perhaps due to the vintage - and also uncharacteristically for DRC collapsed into a bit of an acidic mess after about 3 hours in.

Many others have said it, and I agree: it's not worth the price of entry. A good wine, but DRC only deals in great so it was slightly disappointing, especially after it started falling off the cliff.
