Sunday, July 30, 2017 - Medium red color, low transparency. Rich aromas of red fruit with hints of vanilla and spice. A bit of herbal/earthy aroma emerges with some time. On the palate, there is a lot of polish and great integration of structure and flavor elements with a red fruit and cedar/tea/spice combination that carries into a long finish with very fine tannins just lurking under the surface. Not a bad candidate for an early peek at a DRC today. Drink or hold.
