Wednesday, August 26, 2015 - Has not got the best of aromas but has a great palate. Has a bit unfocussed, earthy, leathery, vanillary, coffee infused aromas with a mishmash of red and blue fruits and very pungent porcini. Its medium bodied elongated palate has full ripeness, excellent density and concentration on the attack and on the luxurious plush oaky fruity and layered middle. Ends with a complex long earthy fruity, tangy finish. Impressive despite the aromas. Drink in the next 5 years. Could have been slightly tainted.
