Monday, July 31, 2017 - Pop and pour. From a pristine bottle. Opaque, very dark maroon color. The nose was a bit closed at first but didn't take too much swirling to get the black cherry fruit, cedar, forest floor. Palate is smooth, medium to full bodied, with the tannins fully integrated. Reminds me of dark chocolate covered cherries. Beautiful wine.
