Monday, January 27, 2014 - - It's balanced with a light body. Bright texture with a long finish - Zingy gooseberry, green fruit and lime. Zippy acidity. Beautifully crisp. Needs to be served very cold, but an outstanding wine at that price, or even triple. Look no further for a house Sauvignon blanc. This is ridiculously good value. Summer in a bottle. With such crunching acidity, must be excellent with tomatoes and citric salad dressings. But there is enough sweetness to make this pleasurable on its own. Sometimes the wine industry should congratulate itself on its commercial wines, not scorn them. This frankly spanks most artisanal or organic products. Screw top. But do serve it very cold.
