Friday, February 23, 2024 - Nose is not terribly expressive, but it does show some red fruit with red currants and cherries above all, and little oak. Palate is a bit rustic is Pommard fashion, with deep, bright cherries, medium acidity, medium tannins, black pepper and oak on the medium+ ending.
Overall, this is a good Pommard in a good spot, but it's a bit thin and, while elegant, I would say it's a bit overpriced all in all. I am not sure it will improve much if at all with more time in the bottle, but it won't fade either. Went very well with baked salmon.

P.s.
- better on day two, with deeper flavors in palate, grippier tannins, depose cherries. I had it with fusilli with grilled salmon, asparagus, and mushrooms - great complement. Nose was a bit oxidized, but besides that the air did it real good.
