Saturday, May 2, 2020 - Deep dark purple color. A big wine. A bit of alcohol initially but it blew off quickly. Lots of earth, tobacco and licorice, with beautiful complexity. Blueberries and eucalyptus. Balancing the big fruit is a good dose of acidity and tannins in the background. This will easily go another 20 years and it will be fascinating to see how it develops.
