Tuesday, March 22, 2016 - Sumptuous. Perfectly mature deep ruby wit no real sediment, displaying a lovely nose of black fruit, date and spice Perhaps my expectations were too high but this seemed slightly simple for what should be a dynamic, powerful Northern Rhone syrah.
If a date, this is the understated office beauty you have admired for years, who you casually bump into at the lunch counter and you spend the entire afternoon together.
Years of great drinking left in this beauty.
