Sunday, October 9, 2016 - Initial notes of leather, violets and medicinal cherry. Three hour decant. Opaque garnet with some cloudiness suggesting that the bottle should be kept upright a few hours before decanting. Eucalyptus aromatics. Good concentration of fruit. Orange marmalade, dried figs, pencil shavings and red cherries. Medium to full bodied. Finishes a bit hot.
