Saturday, August 1, 2015 - Expressive aromatics of pine needle sap, camphor, sandalwood and red fruits. There's a bit of spritz on the palate. It doesn't have the depth of a recent '13 but is detailed and finishes with tart berry freshness. With air you get some sarsaparilla, and Chinese five spice powder action. It started off looking a little skinny but certainly put on some mid-palate pud in the glass.
