Sunday, December 31, 2006 - Thrown some sediment, so decanted. Lightish colour, just starting to brick at the edges. Plums and redcurrant on the nose. Light to medium bodied, plum and red berries on the palate. Quite lean, but decent astringency from a backbone of dry tannins and a mouthwatering streak of acidity. Just a touch of oaky sweetness on the finish. Fine with food now, but another year or so should knock off any remaining sharp edges to give a smooth and elegant village burgundy of the lighter variety.
