Sunday, August 27, 2017 - as usual, amongst several other bottles of sangiovese last night, this stood head and shoulders above the rest. penetrating nose that captures a very unique essence of the earth. that tuscan clay and limestone dust is there along with with this scent of the brush i only get from these wines. polished leather aplenty as well. the balance of the palate is perfect, with focused flavors of cherry compote, mint leaf, and russian tea. nice length. should drink well for years. nothing but good things to say about these wines. great every time.
