Tuesday, July 1, 2014 - Opened yesterday at restaurant (this is the negociant version of Chave St. Joseph). Paired well with a ravioli pasta. Intense, earthy nose, great acidity and rather tannic at first. On day 2, this was intensely fruity and some of the earth had disappeared. An interesting St. Joseph, but not as interesting as the Vernay St. Joseph from a few days ago.
