Friday, September 4, 2020 - Quite lovely and unexpected. I remember opening this several years ago and thinking it was flabby, too big, and just crude. But my oh my, with some age it certainly has bloomed. Deep garnet color and a nose that just fills the room as you pour of a fruit orchard if you’ve ever picked your own. On palate, nicely integrated fruit and acidity. Showing yummy plums, cherries, with deeper tones of forest floor. Nice long finish. Very enjoyable but alas my last bottle.
