Sunday, March 1, 2009 - Nice nose of spice, luscious raspberries, strawberries, toasty oak and glycerin. No brett present on the nose, much cleaner and fruit forward than the last bottle. Palate is nice and dry with mouth puckering tannins. Good fruit throughout the palate and acidity to keep it balanced. Seems that it could open up a bit more and use some time in the cellar. Nice bottle for the price.
