Saturday, June 22, 2013 - Light-to-medium ruby in color, this Pinot is focused on cherry, cinnamon, cola and loamy earth aromas. The wine is elegant and graceful on the palate, with low-to-medium acidity, light tannins, well-integrated alcohol (listed as 14.0%) and flavors which mirror the nose. These same flavors carry on throughout the middle palate and medium-length finish. Alexander Valley Vineyards is known for making "user-friendly" wines at attractive prices. This bottling is no exception. Drink now-2016.
