Sunday, September 29, 2013 - nose: loads of cedar, coffee, toast. berry preserves.

palate: blackberry jam on burnt toast with a nice cup of coffee [almost literally]. good acidity backbone. sharp little tannins. med-short woody finish and the alcohol really kicks at the end.

rough, but theres a lot of flavor, and for 5 bucks you could do exponentially worse
