Friday, December 11, 2020 - Decanted two hours. This has a slightly rustic nose of blackberry, brambles and earth. On the palate it is fully mature. Black currant, plums, earth and iron come through on the palate. There is noticeable oak treatment but it has integrated into the wine pretty well. This probably could have used even a longer decant as it seemed to get better as the night wore on. Still has up to ten years of life ahead of it.
