Sunday, February 21, 2016 - This wine has turned into an elegant example of a New World Pinot Noir. The nose shows subtle ripe red fruit, earth, and complex wood/smoke aromas -- similar on the palate, the taste is elegant ripe cherry fruit, earth and hint of smoke. Acidity is low and the finish is clean. If you are a Burgundy lover this wine breaks the preconception that California Pinots are fruit bombs. This wine is at its peak and should be drunk soon. 92++
