Monday, July 1, 2013 - Mike Kopanski was right on target with his assessment of the 2012 Picton Bay. The more PNoir one drinks, the more one will appreciate this version. To my palate it is one of the best PNoir buys at present and tastes to me just as it did to Mike. Price point is an amazing $7.99/bottle. Smart buyers of everyday quaffing wines will be well-advised to lay down a case or two of this wine. It is every bit as good as other NZealand PN's costing twice as much. But don't just take our word for it; try it yourself and see!
