Friday, February 24, 2017 - A dark damask red with no sign of ageing. Rich fruity nose with raisiny plums and mulberries, underlain by leather and gorse/broom floral notes. The tannins have rounded out and there is a medium to medium full body with plenty of fruit (as above). A decently long finish. Better than expected from a wine that has seemed a little underwhelming in the past.
