Thursday, August 17, 2017 - Given 90 minutes to breathe and accompanied by ribs with a fairly sweet sauce, this wine did not suck. That's as strong of an endorsement that I can give it.

8/19/2017 1:23:00 PM - What is wrong with this wine?. I still have 1 left. Is it past it's prime or just too sweet and jammy? Venge doesn't recommend cellaring this bottle so I wonder how it aged.

8/20/2017 12:25:00 PM - For at least the 2010 and 2011 vintages, this wine has struck me as much too sweet, somewhat disjointed (not fully integrated), and too noticeably alcoholic. Time in the bottle and plenty of air help tame those characteristics, but not enough for me.
