Monday, March 4, 2013 - Hope over experience. Bought at large west coast grocery chain because it had "Ridge" and "Paso Robles" on the label. This is NOT the same as Ridge Dusi Ranch, frequently available through the Ridge ATP program. Tasting notes: faint notes of plum and strawberry, but predominately green wood on the nose and palate. Short, tart finish. Noticed after opening that this was bottled in Dec 2012, so perhaps with time this may improve, but I'm not holding my breath. Left me wondering why Ridge is diluting its brand in this way...

3/20/2013 6:07:00 PM - Ridge zins or any wine for that matter need some time to relax in bottle. at least 6 months. i wouldnt touch these zins within one year of bottling.
