Saturday, February 22, 2014 - It began with pan drippings on the nose; meaty at first, but that soon faded. Another real treat from 1979--light on its feet, still good amount of acidity. Lots of ink at the end. Along with the Ausone, my favorite of the tasting. Others we had included Leoville Las Cases and Margaux.
