Thursday, May 26, 2011 - This bottle seems to have less richness than either Château Pichon Baron or Château Grand Puy Lacoste 1996, which we have drunk recently. There is a slightly lean acidity and some unresolved tannin. The underlying flavour shows characteristic, fine claret notes, but perhaps it needs more time. Potentially a much higher score than on this occasion.
