Wednesday, June 21, 2023 - Beautiful bright clear ruby color showing zero signs of degradation. Bright ripe raspberries and a faint pastry note on the nose. Notes of ripe raspberries, stronger oak than I remember from the last bottle, bramble, and some vanillin with strong tannins. It feels like this wine had entered a closed stage, though I wouldn’t normally expect that at this stage in the evolution. Still quite tasty.
