Saturday, December 25, 2010 - First bottle from a case I bought on release.

This is good! Upon opening, color was garnet with pepper on the nose plus a faint blackberry jam. On the palate, the wine was soft with medium body, acid then tannins in balance. 30 second finish.

After 4 hours in the decanter, the blackberry jam was more pronounced and the pepper was secondary. Long finish, weighty mouthfeel. Acid & tannins more integrated.

Several tasters think this wine is still improving. If so, this will be an outstanding wine in the future.
