Tuesday, May 7, 2013 - Very dark, almost opaque, dirty dark cherry rim. Intense aromas of warm fruit, plums, fried bacon, mushrooms. More Rhone-like than Bdx actually. Med+ body, mineral, savoury, moderately complex. Quite soft yet structured. Some prunes on the palate, interesting spiciness. Charcoal, dark fruit and brine in the aftertaste, quite long. Very atypical.
