Saturday, November 8, 2014 - Medium ruby. Expressive nose of typical Medoc scents around forest floor, barnyard, cedar wood red and black fruit. The wine is really well balanced with good fruit, no drying tannins and enough freshness. Also aromatically complex, not just sweet like so many wines of this vintage. One of the best 2003 (an over-hyped yet terrible vintage) I had. Fully ready to drink now and a real pleasure.
