Wednesday, September 9, 2015 - Second bottle in two days: Decanted and poured immediately. Sediment and color the same as the previous bottle. Nose of dark fruit, as before, but I'm not getting the tobacco (trying both bottles side by side). On the palate, I have more dark fruit and less bell pepper and coffee; acids and finish about the same, and the second bottle is quite a bit better overall. So apparently, I enjoyed the trip to the beach more than the first bottle of wine did. However, I still don't think this is a great wine, but I'll up my score from 80 to 89.
