Saturday, February 20, 2016 - A hint of rust in the color but still mostly ruby red. The nose is very smokey with hints of that Classic paulliac nose. Great complexity on the nose each sent picks up something new that's earthy or rocky. Still big tannins on the palate this wine drinks likes it's very young. Not much fruit open right now but still a thick wine that fully coats your palate. Very long finish. Really great only complaint would be a bit more fruit. May let my last bottle of this rest another 5 years.
