Wednesday, April 20, 2016 - Big surprise. Dark and young looking. Surprisingly open on the nose but VC had opened it at lunch and I was tasting it at 5pm. Very classy and classic Paulliac nose of cassis, cedar, blackberry and spice. Almost a hint of Lafite to be honest! Great freshness and definition on the palate. Balance and length. Can be enjoyed now and very pleased I picked these up at sub-$50/bt.
