Monday, August 29, 2005 - Dark ruby color. Very reserved at first, with light aromas of cedar and coffee, restrained black-fruit flavors, and soft but omnipresent tannin. After two hours it becomes more flamboyant to taste (though not to smell), with the fruit acquiring nutty and charred characteristics and becoming more glossy in texture. Moderate tannin perserveres, but overall this is really quite supple.
