Saturday, February 9, 2019 - A bit of a nose bomb, with earthy forest floor, vegetal, perfume notes, and mineral undertones. Well balanced with a round mouth feel. Fruit is subtle now, and the palate is more about the leather and earthy notes, with a background of eucalyptus. The finish lingers pleasantly. Nice with a pepper steak. A quality wine which has the potential to evolve further. Probably has another 5 years at least, but very good now. Decanted for 1 hour.
