Saturday, March 28, 2020 - The rim is finally start to show some age here. Dark fruits and tobacco leaf on the nose, perhaps complemented by hints of graphite. The wine popped right away without decanting. Blackberry, exotic spice (anise) and cigar box on the palate. Fine, sweet tannins. Medium acidity. Well balanced and precise. Not flabby, which is nice given the vintage.
