Saturday, January 13, 2024 - Still deep ruby, pronounced nose of black fruits, herbs, and animal. Palate showing mostly primary notes still, ripe dark and black fruits, cassis, black currants, plum skins, leather, clove and black pepper. Tannins have begun to resolve, fruit is starting to mellow out, this was in a pretty good spot tonight, but I think this is still 3-5 years from its peak as it could still get more complex. A very nice Bordeaux and at its current value this is pretty good! 90-91
