Saturday, September 8, 2018 - Decanted for two hours. The nose is dark fruited with some hints of meatiness. On the palate this is more subdued than some other vintages I have tried. Blackberry and red raspberry, some savory grilled meat, a hint of spices with a bit of grip on the finish. Nice and enjoyable but more subtle and less sauvage than I would prefer.
