Sunday, July 5, 2015 - 4th of July BBQ with Friends and good wine; 7/4/2015-7/5/2015 (Zurich, Switzerland): Wonderful DomP. Light yellow in color. Nose shows smoked flavors, toasted bread, lime and apples. Very elegant almost light but at the same time long and multifaceted. An enormous wine and so addicting. Much better than the 2003. Amazing now and in the next 10-15 years.

7/5/2015 7:05:00 PM - Thanks for the comments and rating. A lot of CTers seem to be sipping this vintage now. We join most in saying it is not "yet" the wine it is destined to be. Very good bubble now, but we prefer the 1999. Happy 4th!

7/6/2015 12:33:00 PM - Thanks for your comment. 1999 Dom Perignon is supposed to be amazing. I only own one bottle but likely I will drink it following your comment in the next months.

7/6/2015 5:52:00 PM - 1999 is a winner for sure. Having said that, it will continue to improve for quite sometime.
