Monday, February 16, 2015 - The color is light red, somewhat like a Pinot Noir but a little more brick color. The nose is just like a fine Barolo - amazing floral rose notes with some vegatal undertones. Initial palate is completely different from an aged Barolo, but in a good youthful and lively way. Very little tannins, but some good acitdity. It starts to bring in some fresh red fruit flavors along with the floral notes. Finishes quickly, but this is a great wine and perfectly represents what you expect from the grape and style.
