Friday, March 7, 2014 - I opened this straight from the fridge and left it for 10 minutes. It was very pale straw in colour. I caught subdued aromas of white flowers and lemon-limes. On the palate, charged freshness transforms into lemon-lime tartness. However, the bracing acidity pairs with aggressive minerality. As the wine was too cold, I left the bottle alone in cool water for at least an hour. On my return occasion, attractive white flowers emerged to blend with more pale stone fruits and limes. The palate gained more balance as the citrus acidity was in better harmony with the minerality of the wine. While the minerality brought length to the wine, it remained a bit coarse and less balance when compared to the 2011.
