Monday, December 15, 2014 - Anise, briney dark fruit, smoke, earth, more of a cool climate Syrah. Great QPR for less than $20.
Day 2 update. This has turned into an awesome wine. It has deepened, added a tobacco/tar element and the nose is much more fragrant. I am actually taken back by how much a day has changed this one. Up 3 points.
I recommend more cellar time, a slow in bottle oxidation or a long decant.
